Exploitation and Cultural Genocide
The adoption industry exploits mothers and families who are naive
or temporarily without resources to obtain human infants to sell to
adopters - along with a promise of "real parenthood".
In addition to children being used as an infertility "treatment",
social engineering is at work.
Many Christian adoption agencies will provide babies only to infertile
couples. According to Christian beliefs, marriage is for reproduction.
At one time in history a marriage would be annulled if a husband or
wife was infertile - now couples can be rendered "fertile"
through the acquisition of an unrelated child.
Adoption is used to wipe out a culture considered "undesirable",
or to build up "desirable" cultures.
Through adoption:
Pagan children can be "converted" to Christianity
Darker-skinned people bred into nonexistence over time
Single parenthood and care by grandparents and extended family
may be annihilated.
The Aborigines in Australia and the Native Americans in United States
are examples of groups subjected to adoption exploitation designed
to wipe out their culture.
Sometimes an inbred culture (eg, Mennonites) may "fix"
their problem by adopting so they do not have to marry outside their
religion.
