Remembering Our Sisters

In the United States alone, 10 million mothers have been "crucified" for the "sin" of bringing life into the world and have been used to provide a baby for someone else.

Protesting Adoption LossMany have committed suicide over the tremendously painful loss of their own son or daughter. Their children have suffered as well. But the crime of separating real family members to obtain babies for adoption continues. Mothers whose children have been taken for adoption WILL NOT give up. Our sisters need us to tell the truth.

(Picture depicts mothers marching in the shape of a cross.)

Adoption is not the most loving option - people could just help a mom and baby stay together. A mother is not a "birthmother" (aka "birth thing"), a mother is not an incubator!

How many moms say they had a hard time being away from their newborn for a few hours or later they had trouble being away from their young child for a weekend or a week while they go on a business trip or on vacation? Mothers who are away from their child suffer. They need to know how their child is. Designating a mother a "birthmother" does not change this - although many moms are creative in finding ways to cope and put it out of their minds. There is no such thing as a "birhtmother" - this woman is the mother of her child.

The status of women in a society may be partially determined by the percentage of women who have their babies adopted-out.
